Is this a multi-sampled virtual instrument I can play with my MIDI keyboard?
No. These are phrase-based engines that preserve real recorded performances and surface them inside Kontakt with phrase-level control over arrangement and editing. They are not multi-sampled VSTs and are not designed for playing melodies or chord progressions via MIDI keyboard.
What version of Kontakt do I need?
Full paid Kontakt 5.6.5 or higher. Free Kontakt Player is not supported.
