The Story
The sound of modern arena rock isn't one guitar — it's three. A delayed guitar painting the atmosphere. A power guitar driving the chord changes. An ambient guitar floating underneath, filling the cracks with texture and air. U2 perfected this architecture. Coldplay turned it into the biggest band in the world. One Republic, Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, and Paramore all built their sound on the same principle: layers of guitar, each with a different job, stacking into something bigger than any single player could create alone.
This library is built around that three-layer approach. Every kit contains three completely unique guitar parts — delayed electric, power electric, and ambient electric — each recorded through its own signal chain with its own tone. Stack all three for the full arena wash. Use one for a stripped verse. Swap two for an unexpected combination. Twelve kits of contemporary rock arranged in full song sections, with the guitar layering doing the architectural work that makes modern rock sound expansive.
Each guitar layer was tracked through its own dedicated amp and effects chain — the delayed guitars through tape echo and analog delay, the power guitars through pushed tube amps, the ambient guitars through shimmer reverbs and modulation. That separation means you're not undoing someone else's mix when you adjust the balance. Each layer arrives as its own stem with its own character fully formed. Stack them, solo them, or replace one with your own — the architecture is yours to control.

Do I need Kontakt to use this library?
No. Kontakt is completely optional.
All libraries include standard WAV files that work in any DAW without additional software.
If a Kontakt Engine version is included, it requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt (v5.5 or higher) and will not run in the free Kontakt Player.
Will this work in my DAW?
Yes. All We Sound Human products work in every major DAW using standard audio files.
This includes Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, GarageBand, Reaper, and more.
If your DAW can play audio, these sounds will work.
