Where are my files after I buy?
The moment your order goes through, your libraries land in your We Sound Human account — and we email you a link too. Log in anytime, from any device, and download whatever you need. Nothing in your inbox after a few minutes? Check spam, or email us and we'll resend it.
When will I get my order? Can I re-download later, or do I lose access?
Always yours. Purchases live in your account for good — re-download whenever, on any device. If we ever add formats to a library, you keep access to the versions you bought.
My download won't open or unzip.
Almost always this is your browser, not the file. On Safari, switch off "open safe files after downloading," then unzip with the built-in Archive Utility. Still stuck? Send us your browser and we'll walk you through it.
Using in your DAW
Will these work in my DAW?
Yes — all of them. Every library is standard WAV, so it drops straight into Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, GarageBand, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, and Reaper — anything that plays audio. Many libraries also include DAW-Ready Sessions built for specific DAWs.
What's a DAW-Ready Session?
The whole song, already built. Double-click and it opens in your DAW with every part on its own track, labeled and arranged by section — intro, verse, chorus, bridge, ending. You start inside a real performance instead of a blank timeline.
When will I get my order? What formats are included — and which should I use?
Everything's included for one price — no editions to choose at checkout. You get DAW-Ready Sessions (ready-to-open sessions for supported DAWs), Multi-Format audio (WAV, Apple Loops, ACID, and REX for drag-and-drop into any DAW), and, where a library includes it, a Kontakt Engine Edition. Not sure where to start? Open your DAW's session if we make one — otherwise the WAV files work everywhere.
Do I need Kontakt — and what is the Kontakt Edition?
No — Kontakt is completely optional. Every library includes standard WAV files that work in any DAW with no extra software. Where we include a Kontakt Engine Edition, it's a phrase-based performance engine for fast auditioning — not a multi-sampled virtual instrument — and it needs the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt (5.6.5 or higher), not the free Kontakt Player.
Can I play the instruments on a MIDI keyboard?
Not as free notes. The Kontakt Engine Edition is phrase-based — you arrange and edit real recorded performances rather than playing independent melodies or chords from a MIDI keyboard. If you're after a playable instrument for live improvisation, these libraries aren't built for that.
Will my tracks sound like everyone else's?
No — and that's the whole point of how we build these. You get full performances, multiple sections, variations, alternates, and stems, so you arrange and process them your way. It's not the same eight bars looped; it's raw material for tracks that sound like you.
Can I change the tempo, key, or time signature?
Yes. Every file is labeled by BPM and key, and stems stretch and transpose cleanly in any DAW. For non-4/4 feels and working across keys, we've got step-by-step guides per DAW.
Can I hear a library before I buy?
Yes — every product page has an Audio Demos player. Use the "Select Your Sounds" menu to preview finished song-kit demos, drums, individual instruments, and extras, so you know exactly what's inside before you buy.
Licensing & usage
Are the samples royalty-free? Can I use them commercially?
Yes — 100% royalty-free, forever. Use them in songs, albums, sync placements, film, TV, ads, client work, podcasts, and commercial releases. No extra fees, no per-use royalties, and the finished work is yours. Once you buy, you're free to release.
Do I need to credit We Sound Human?
No credit required. A shout-out is always appreciated but never expected — the music goes out under your name.
I got a YouTube Content ID claim — what do I do?
This pops up now and then because our kits are non-exclusive — another creator used the same part and YouTube's system flags the match. It doesn't affect your right to use the sound. Dispute the claim with YouTube, noting you've licensed the audio from We Sound Human, and email us if you'd like a hand.
Can I use these to build my own sample pack, loop library, or virtual instrument?
That's the one thing you can't do. You're free to create and release any music with our sounds, but you can't repackage the samples — modified or not — into a sample library, loop library, or virtual instrument to sell or share. Everything else is yours.
Can I use these to train AI?
No. Our license prohibits using the samples to train, develop, or improve any AI system — machine learning models, neural networks, or otherwise — without our written permission. These were played by real musicians, and that's how they stay.
Can I use these in production music or a music library?
Yes — you can use the sounds to create tracks for production-music and library-music catalogs. The one exception: you can't use or recreate a library's demo mix tracks. Everything else is fair game for your compositions.

What's your refund policy?
You're covered by our 100% Happiness Guarantee. If a library isn't right for you within 30 days, reach out — once you've installed and tried it, we'll either help you exchange it for one that fits or issue a full refund. Just complete our contact form, let us know you've used it, and tell us what didn't work (it helps us improve). Validated refunds are processed within 2–4 weeks for the full purchase price, minus any currency or bank fees. Not-For-Resale items and purchases made through resellers are handled by the original retailer.
Is there a student or educator discount?
Yes. Send us proof of current enrollment or teaching and we'll set you up with an ongoing discount on every order.
Can I upgrade a single pack to the full bundle?
Absolutely. Already own part of a bundle? Just pay the difference and we'll get you the rest — email us and we'll sort it out.
What payment methods do you take?
Checkout runs on Shopify's secure system, so you can pay with any major card plus Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.
