The Story
Take a guitar. Add delay. Add more delay. Add reverb on top of the delay. Now play a single note and listen to it multiply, repeat, and spread across the stereo field until it becomes a cloud of sound that hangs in the air. That's the territory Echo lives in. It's the sound that defined shoegaze and post-rock — the guitar as a wash of color rather than a rhythmic instrument. Radiohead used it to turn rock songs into soundscapes. My Bloody Valentine built entire albums on nothing else. It's one of the most useful textures in modern music, and one of the hardest to record well.
This library delivers twenty-five kits of that texture. Delayed guitars, echo guitars, ambient guitars, shimmery pad guitars, ebow guitars, slide guitars, rhythmic pulse guitars, distorted textures, and acoustic picking — every flavor of effects-drenched guitar you'd need for cinematic, ambient, or shoegaze work. Each guitar part was recorded through both an amped signal and a raw direct signal, giving you the produced tone and the clean source to re-process however you want.
The effects are part of the performance — not patches applied after the fact. The guitarist played through a pedalboard of analog delays, tape echoes, and spring reverbs, making real-time decisions about feedback, timing, and dynamics. That human interaction with the effects is what gives these textures their movement and unpredictability. A digital delay repeats perfectly. An analog delay drifts and degrades. A tape echo warbles. Those imperfections are the entire point — they're what make the guitar sound alive inside the reverb.

No. Kontakt is completely optional.
All libraries include standard WAV files that work in any DAW without additional software.
If a Kontakt Engine version is included, it requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt (v5.5 or higher) and will not run in the free Kontakt Player.
Will this work in my DAW?
Yes. All We Sound Human products work in every major DAW using standard audio files.
