The Story
Vol.1 laid the foundation. Vol.2 builds the whole house. This second volume takes everything that made the original work — the live horn sections, the swinging rhythm, the jazz-funk energy — and pushes into wider territory. More latin grooves. More funk. More solo horn performances that let individual players stretch out and show what they can do over a vamp. If Vol.1 gave you the foundation of a great horn library, Vol.2 gives you the corners and the edges.
The instrumentation expands. More sax, trumpet, and trombone sections join the lineup alongside grooving Hammond organ, solo horn features, thunderous drums, and electric bass lines that sit deep in the pocket. The guitar work leans funkier. The drum patterns hit harder. The arrangements span jazz, rock, blues, soul, latin, and funk — often within the same kit, as the song sections shift feel the way a great live band does between a verse and a chorus.
Built to work alongside Vol.1 as a single system. The recordings were made with the same players, the same room, and the same signal chain — so any horn section from Vol.2 sits seamlessly next to a rhythm track from Vol.1. The files share the same gain staging, the same labeling conventions, and the same stem structure. Pull parts from either volume and they lock together without level-matching or reformatting. Two volumes, one horn section.

If a Kontakt Engine version is included, it requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt (v5.5 or higher) and will not run in the free Kontakt Player.
