The Sound Profile
Character
MEDITATIVE · EXPANSIVE · IMMERSIVE
Ambient and cinematic rock infused with shoegaze and post-rock depth. Clean and distorted guitars, pianos, keys, bass, vocals, and drums create lush soundscapes inspired by Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Ros, and Mogwai. Meditative, expansive, and deeply immersive.
The Story
Shoegaze got its name from guitarists who stared at their pedal boards instead of the crowd. My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Cocteau Twins — they proved that a wall of guitar could feel like an ocean instead of an assault. Post-rock took that idea further. Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Rós, Mogwai — no vocals, no verses, just long, patient builds that take you somewhere. This is music designed to fill a room and change the air in it.
This library lives in that space. Clean and distorted guitars recorded through layers of reverb and delay. Pianos and keys captured with the sustain pedal down and the room wide open. Vocals tracked as texture — not lyrics, just tone and breath. Bass and drums play below the surface, anchoring the drift without interrupting it. Every arrangement was built to swell, recede, and swell again — the way the best post-rock does.
Recorded with an emphasis on natural space and dynamics. The reverb you hear isn't a plug-in — it's the room itself, captured through carefully placed ambient mics. When the guitars build from silence to a full wall of sound, you feel the distance between those two points. Nothing was squashed to make it louder. The quiet parts are genuinely quiet. The loud parts earn it. That breathing room is what makes it work — whether you're scoring a film, building a soundtrack, or writing the most honest song you've ever made.

How do downloads and future access work?
After purchase, your libraries are added to your secure We Sound Human account.
You can download them anytime, from anywhere, whenever you need them.
If formats are expanded or updated in the future, you’ll retain access to the versions included with your purchase.
Will my music sound like everyone else using the same pack?
No — and this is one of the biggest reasons our libraries are built the way they are.
Our products include full performances, multiple song sections, variations, alternates, and stems so you can arrange, edit, and process the sounds in your own way.
The goal isn’t to loop the same 8 bars — it’s to help you build tracks that feel human, dynamic, and uniquely yours.
