The Story
Not every rock song starts with a riff. Some start with a lyric scribbled on a napkin, a chord progression hummed in the shower, a feeling that won't go away until it becomes a song. The songwriter's corner of indie rock — Fall Out Boy, Death Cab for Cutie, Imagine Dragons, Feist, American Authors — puts the writing first. The production serves the story. The instruments support the voice. The song is the thing, and everything else works backward from there.
This library was built for that approach. Electric and acoustic guitars, pianos, keys, synths, bass, and full multitrack drums — every instrument recorded with the song in mind. The guitar parts aren't showpieces. They're textures, beds, and hooks that leave room for a vocal on top. The pianos and keys add harmonic depth. The drums provide the rhythmic engine without overwhelming the arrangement. Every kit is structured as a complete song — verse, chorus, bridge — with parts that were written to support a vocalist, not compete with one.
Recorded with a songwriter's ear for balance. Every instrument sits in its own frequency range, leaving the space where a vocal would live completely open. The guitars are warm but not thick. The pianos are present but not heavy. The drums drive the rhythm without crowding the midrange. That awareness of arrangement space is baked into every stem. Drop a vocal on top of any kit and it will sit naturally — because the recordings were made with that exact scenario in mind.

Do I need Kontakt to use this library?
No. Kontakt is completely optional.
All libraries include standard WAV files that work in any DAW without additional software.
If a Kontakt Engine version is included, it requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt (v5.5 or higher) and will not run in the free Kontakt Player.
Will this work in my DAW?
