The Story
There's a point where rock stops being fun and starts being a weapon. Drop the tuning a whole step. Thicken the bass until the speakers rattle. Hit the snare like you're trying to break it. The post-grunge and nu-metal era — Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park, Godsmack, Staind, Three Days Grace, Seether — took the heaviness of metal and fused it with the hooks of alternative rock. The result was music that could fill an arena and crack a windshield at the same time. Not pretty. Not polite. Just heavy.
This library delivers that weight. Detuned and alternate-tuned electric guitars — thick, aggressive, and layered — alongside furious electric bass and bone-crushing drums. The arrangements are built for impact. Drop-D riffs lock to the bass and kick drum in a wall of low-end that you feel in your chest before you hear it in your ears. The quieter sections pull back just far enough to make the next heavy riff land even harder. That dynamic control is what separates good heavy rock from noise.
Recorded to preserve the sheer mass of the sound. The guitars were tracked through high-gain amplifiers with the cabinet mic'd close for maximum aggression. The bass was captured both through an amp and a direct signal for low-end flexibility. The drums were recorded with tight, punchy close mics and room mics that capture the explosive energy of a hard-hitting drummer in a live room. Every stem is gain-staged to hit your session at full force without clipping. This is rock mixed hot — because that's how it's supposed to sound.

No. Kontakt is completely optional.
All libraries include standard WAV files that work in any DAW without additional software.
If a Kontakt Engine version is included, it requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt (v5.5 or higher) and will not run in the free Kontakt Player.
Will this work in my DAW?
