The Story
Dream pop is what happens when indie songwriting stops caring about the verse-chorus formula and starts chasing a feeling. The songs wash over you. The production shimmers. The vocals float on top of layers of guitar, synths, and percussion that blend into something more like a color than a genre. Florence and the Machine made it theatrical. Gotye made it strange and beautiful. Ellie Goulding made it glow. One Republic and Imagine Dragons proved it could fill an arena without losing its intimacy. This is pop music painted with a wide brush — vivid, cinematic, and built to make you feel something you can't quite name.
This library paints with that palette. Male vocalists, nylon and electric guitars, percussion, synth bass, pianos, and pads — arranged as layerable instrument kits that let you build from a single texture to a full cinematic pop production. One layer gives you a sparse, intimate starting point. Add another and the arrangement opens up. Stack everything and you're in full widescreen. The arrangements are eclectic by design — indie and cinematic and ambient all in the same kit, shifting tone as you add or remove parts.
Every instrument was recorded as an independent layer designed to blend. The guitars were tracked with ambient effects that complement the synth pads rather than compete with them. The vocals were captured clean and dry for placement flexibility. The percussion sits in its own rhythmic space without crowding the melodic instruments. That intentional separation means every layer you add enhances the arrangement instead of muddying it. Build up, strip down, rearrange — the architecture supports whatever direction the song takes you.

Do I need Kontakt to use this library?
No. Kontakt is completely optional.
All libraries include standard WAV files that work in any DAW without additional software.
If a Kontakt Engine version is included, it requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt (v5.5 or higher) and will not run in the free Kontakt Player.
Will this work in my DAW?
Yes. All We Sound Human products work in every major DAW using standard audio files.
