The Story
Every songwriter starts in the same place — alone with an instrument and something to say. Before the band, before the producer, before the studio, it's just a voice and a guitar working out whether the song is worth finishing. Ed Sheeran fills arenas with nothing but a loop pedal and an acoustic. Jack Johnson made millions sound like a guy on a beach with a beat-up guitar. Brandi Carlile can silence a room with one note. The singer-songwriter tradition has always been about stripping music down to its most honest form — just enough arrangement to carry the story, and not a single note more.
This library is built for that stripped-down approach. Acoustic guitar, ukulele, mandolin, slide guitar, and bass — the core instruments of contemporary singer-songwriter music, recorded with restraint and emotional honesty. The arrangements are minimal by design. A verse might be nothing but a fingerpicked guitar. A chorus might add mandolin and slide. The parts never crowd the space where a vocal belongs — because in this style, the vocal is the whole point.
Recorded as simply as possible. A single high-quality microphone on each instrument, placed close enough to hear the player breathing. No room mics. No ambient wash. No effects. What you get is the raw, intimate sound of a musician and their instrument with nothing between them and you. The acoustic guitar has the warmth of a well-played instrument captured at its source. The ukulele has its woody brightness. The slide guitar has its human cry. Every stem is honest enough to carry a song on its own.

Do I need Kontakt to use this library?
No. Kontakt is completely optional.
All libraries include standard WAV files that work in any DAW without additional software.
If a Kontakt Engine version is included, it requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt (v5.5 or higher) and will not run in the free Kontakt Player.
Will this work in my DAW?
