Kontakt is one format per pack, not the only delivery. Pair with multitrack drum loops for full-band arrangements built entirely from live performances.

Each Kontakt edition is a phrase-based engine running inside the full Kontakt host — real recorded performances surfaced with phrase-level control over arrangement and editing. These are not multi-sampled virtual instruments and are not designed for playing melodies or chord progressions via MIDI keyboard. You work with captured takes that carry the original phrasing, dynamics, and articulation.

The difference is practical.
